Currently, I have two research projects with student participants:
- LIN 690 Development of Adverbial Expression of Path among Japanese Users of ESL and EFL
This project looks how Japanese users of English express Path of motion (trajectories, e.g. up, down, ascend) across different levels of proficiency in English and in two learning contexts: English as a second language and English as a foreign language.
- LIN 690 Chinese-English Bilingual Expression of Motion
This project looks how Chinese users of English express motion in English across different levels of proficiency.
